Companion care at home

Care that feels like family, in the home they love.

Bamah Home Care brings warm, steady companionship to older adults right where they are happiest — at home. Help with the day-to-day, a friendly face at the door, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing your mom or dad is in good hands.

Serving families across the North Shore, the South Shore and Middlesex County. Including Somerville, Melrose and Malden.

Open 24/7 — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Caring for a parent and not sure where to start? That is exactly who we are here for. A conversation costs nothing.

Peace of mind

You carry a lot.
Let us carry some of it.

Most families come to us in the middle of a hard season — a fall, a diagnosis, a move, or the slow realization that the weekly visits are not quite enough anymore. What they are really asking for is someone kind and reliable to be there, so they can stop worrying through every workday.

That is the whole of what we do. Not a facility. Not a schedule of clinical tasks. A person, in the house, making the day better.

The same friendly face

Care works when it is familiar. We match your loved one with a caregiver who fits them, and we keep that person coming back, so visits feel like a friend stopping by rather than a stranger on a schedule.

02

Care that stays personal

No two people need the same thing. We build the plan around your loved one’s routines, preferences, and pride — what they want help with, and what they would rather keep doing themselves.

03

You are kept in the loop

You should never have to wonder how the day went. You will hear from us, plainly and often, so the family can relax into being family again.

Our Mission

Peace of mind for families.
Compassionate care at home.

Our mission is simple: to care for the elderly with compassion, right in their own home, where they are most comfortable and most themselves.

We bring companionship, daily care, help with errands, and light housekeeping — the everyday things that keep a home running and a day feeling good.

And we give families peace of mind, knowing that their mom and dad are in good hands.

Companionship — Bamah Home Care
01

Companionship

A friendly visit that turns a long day into a good one.

Conversation, a shared cup of tea, a walk around the block, a card game, or simply sitting together while the afternoon goes by. Companionship is the heart of what we do: someone who shows up, remembers the stories, and genuinely enjoys your loved one’s company.

  • Regular visits on a schedule that suits them
  • Conversation, games, reading aloud, and shared hobbies
  • Walks, porch sitting, and a little fresh air
  • A friendly check-in between visits

Daily Care

A gentle hand with the everyday things.

Help with the rhythm of the day: getting up and dressed, a warm breakfast, remembering medication on time, and moving safely from room to room. We work at your loved one’s pace and protect their dignity in every small thing, because help with the everyday should never feel like a loss.

  • Help getting dressed and ready for the day
  • Meals planned and cooked the way they like them
  • Gentle reminders for medication and appointments
  • A steady arm around the house and up the stairs
Errands & Getting Out — Bamah Home Care
03

Errands & Getting Out

The errands that have gotten harder, handled.

Groceries, the pharmacy, the bank, a haircut, a doctor’s visit. We drive, we carry the bags, and we make an outing of it. Getting out of the house does as much for the spirit as it does for the to-do list, and it is often the part of the week our clients look forward to most.

  • Grocery shopping and pharmacy pickups
  • Rides to appointments and errands
  • A helping hand with bags, doors, and stairs
  • A coffee or a look around the shops on the way home

Already caring for someone you love?

Respite care is for you: a few hours, a weekend, or a standing visit so you can rest and come back with something left to give.

How it works

Three quiet steps, and then the hard part is shared.

01

Reach out

Call us or send a care request with a few details. It takes two minutes, and there is no cost to talk.

02

We talk it through

We ask about your loved one — how their days go, what has gotten harder, and what would help most. We listen more than we talk.

03

Care begins

Together we settle on a care plan and a schedule, and we introduce a caregiver who fits. From there we check in and adjust as life changes.

Areas We Serve

Local care, close to home.

We come to families across the North Shore, the South Shore and Middlesex County — the communities we know, where a caregiver can be a familiar face at the door rather than a stranger on a schedule.

If your mom or dad lives in one of these places, we would love to hear from you. And if you are not sure whether your town is covered, just ask — we will tell you straight.

About Bamah

Care built on the thing families ask for most: trust.

Bamah Home Care began with a simple belief — that growing older should not mean leaving the home you know, or spending your days without company. We are a small companion care company, and we keep it small on purpose: it lets us know every family by name and every caregiver by heart.

We help with the everyday, and we pay attention to the things that make a day good: a favorite meal, an old story, a walk in the sun, a tidy kitchen at the end of the afternoon. It is not complicated work. It is careful work.
